MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial gave up a total of 64 points in the paint as they fell to Southeastern by the score of 85-74 at the FMU Wellness Center.
The Lions battled in the first half and trailed by just six at the break before the Fire pulled away in the latter half.
FMU was led by Jacobi Gordon, who produced a team-high 18 points and six boards while teammate Jordan Watkins finished with 15 points and three boards before fouling out. SEU’s Riley Minix had a monster game, scoring 38 points and grabbed 12 boards for the Fire.
FMU returns to action on Saturday, February 18 as they host Webber for senior night. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
